While Mom is certainly the executive chef in the Thomas family kitchen, Dad has been known to moonlight on occasion assisting Mom in household food production. From omelets to German dishes (invariably involving Vienna sausages) Dad is at home in the kitchen as he is at his desk/computer. His specialty, you ask? Egg nog. Dad has made the Christmas egg nog for as long as I remember. I don't know how he got assigned this essential, and much appreciated task. But the assignment was wisely made because there is no one better at whipping up such eggy-noggy-delightfulness!
